 Dr. Kengo Miyo, Chief Medical Informatics Officer, National Center for Global Health and Medicine, in Japan will explain in this webinar his work on implementing GS1 Standards in healthcare for connecting information and products, as well as people.

In this webinar Dr. Miyo will explain:

  1. how inefficiencies in the hospital system were solved by introducing and utilising GS1 Standards
  2. how this supports traceability from manufacturer to patient
  3. resulting in a medical device data bank
  4. the importance of involving people inside and outside the hospital
  5. future challenges
